Sudeep's special appearance in Rangan Style
 Kiccha Sudeep, who has been busy with scripting work on his next directorial, which is believed to be the Kannada remake of the Telugu hit Mirchi, has taken time off to do a special role in Rangan Style. The film stars Pradeep, one of Sudeep's Celebrity Cricket League teammates in the lead.Sudeep took to his micro-blogging page to announce the same. "Doin a special appearance in Pradeep's film 'Rangan style'.. Shootin fr a kan film aftr almost 9 months,,feel soo lost.," he wrote. The actor's last release was Bachchan, after which his only other stints in front of the camera have been for a cameo in the Telugu film Action, as well as to shoot for his recently-concluded reality show in Lonavala. Incidentally, at the muhurat of Rangan Style, Sudeep and Darshan had turned up to sound the first clap and encourage the young actor. The film, meanwhile, is believed to be based on real incidents, with social networking at the crux of the story. |
Kanika Tiwari debuts in Sandalwood
Bollywood actress Kanika Tiwari, who played a significant role as Hrithik Roshan's sister in Agneepath, will make her debut in Sandalwood with Rangan Style. The film directed by Prashanth has Pradeep in the lead role.An excited Kanika says, "I play the role of a bubbly girl in the movie, who hails from a rich family. My role has elements of love, sentiment and comedy. Initially, it was difficult to get the Kannada lingo right. However, since I got my dialogues before the day of the shoot, I managed to deliver the lines with ease."
Kanika is busy in not just in Sandalwood, but also in other south film industries as well. She has a Tamil project titled Aavi Kumar, and Telugu films Boy Meets Girl and a flick with debutant director Charith Ramesh. She says her experience of working in all the industries is a learning process. "It is a different experience working in all the four industries. I feel I am too young to act in Bollywood movies. When the time is right, I will resume working on B-town films. Right now, I am enjoying my stint in the south and happy to be learning new things every day," says Kanika.
